Unbroken

After the splatter of the rain
 Glint, glint the sun shines again
Though the gravel-dark sky did cause some pain
But we are glad now for this reign


We may be covered with black
In us there's fortitude greater than jack
Our feathers look pompous but we don't brag
Nature gave us that!

Cocktail-blue shade sky we have
A sign of hope we've got
A brighter day ahead for a new song
